Bradesco Saúde is launched,
Mediservice has been acquired,
expanding its corporate healthcare solutions
As Brazil’s most comprehensive healthcare ecosystem, Bradsaúde was created through the consolidation of leading companies that are industry leaders in their respective segments, combining expertise, scale, innovation, and financial strength to transform the healthcare experience.
We bring together health and dental insurance providers, hospitals, primary care clinics, technology, and investments in diagnostics and oncology.
Bradsaúde comprises Bradesco Saúde, Odontoprev, Mediservice, Fleury (24.9%), Atlântica Hospitais, Meu Doutor Novamed, and Orizon, in addition to strategic stakes in new initiatives such as Croma Oncologia.
The ecosystem serves over 13 million beneficiaries, with approximately 4,000 hospital beds and an extensive care network across the country, operating in an open, non-verticalized model that combines efficiency, quality, and access.
We are driven by innovation, excellence, and a commitment to the sustainability of the business and the healthcare system. For us, healthcare is more than a service: it is a set of connected solutions designed to care for people at every stage of life—with responsibility, a vision for the future, and a focus on what truly matters.
Health insurance plans offer outpatient, inpatient, and maternity coverage, forming the core of Brazil’s supplemental health care system. The Brazilian market reached approximately 53 million policyholders in 2025, equivalent to about 25% of the population.
Bradesco Saúde is Brazil’s largest health insurance company by revenue, with approximately 4 million policyholders.
The dental insurance market in Brazil began to expand in the late 1980s, when it established itself as a significant corporate benefit, particularly among large employers. According to the ANS, the sector for exclusively dental plans had 7 million beneficiaries in 2006, reaching more than 36 million by February 2026—nearly 17% of the Brazilian population.
The growth of dental plans has been driven primarily by structural factors: the high supply of professionals in the face of historically pent-up demand; the limited role of the public system in oral health; and the growing inclusion of dental benefits in the benefit packages of small and medium-sized companies. Added to this is the interest of new distribution channels, such as brokers and benefits consultancies, and the evolution of the regulatory environment, which has reduced informality and introduced better management and healthcare practices, contributing to the sector’s sustainable development.
The private hospital sector involves the operation of medium- and high-complexity facilities, including inpatient care, surgeries, and specialized services.
Atlântica Hospitais is a vehicle exclusively positioned for investments in hospitals and healthcare services, with a nationwide presence and partnerships with some of the country’s largest hospital networks. Founded in 2021, the company focuses on developing its own integrated network of hospitals of excellence, located in regions with high hospital demand, combining high-quality care, patient-centered service, and intensive use of technology. Currently, the portfolio comprises over 3,900 beds, reinforcing its position as one of the leading drivers of hospital expansion in Brazil.
Atlântica’s growth strategy is based on large-scale greenfield projects, with estimated investments ranging from R$400 million to R$600 million per facility, as well as acquisitions and strategic partnerships with leading players in the sector. Over the past five years, R$4.5 billion has been committed to investments, propelling the company to become the fourth-largest network in the country by number of beds.
The diagnostics segment is a market that is highly dependent on technology, scale, and operational efficiency, encompassing clinical analysis laboratories, imaging exams, and in vitro tests, and is essential for the prevention, screening, diagnosis, and monitoring of diseases.
With a strong national presence and leadership in diagnostic medicine, Fleury has built an integrated system through acquisitions, currently operating 570 Diagnostic Medicine Units and performing over 350,000 tests per year.
The healthcare technology sector is growing at double-digit rates, driven by the digitization of healthcare, pressure for operational efficiency, and the integration of the patient journey. Within the Bradsaúde ecosystem, Orizon is a healthtech company specializing in medical intelligence, analytics, and automation, and is the largest healthcare data company in the market, offering unique solutions for managed care. The platform has over 140 client insurers, over 150 million transactions per year, and over 500,000 authorized or analyzed claims per day.
In addition, Kortex Ventures is an activist venture capital firm in the healthcare and technology sector dedicated to accelerating innovative businesses, connecting entrepreneurs across the healthcare value chain through investments that build mutually beneficial long-term relationships.
